Thursday 18th March 10
Today we created a questionnaire for our three final designs . The questionnaires asked the viewers questions like; which was the preferred choice, ''What is the flyers best feature?'' and ''How do the colours help this flyer work?''. We went into town and asked around 10 people these questions but only half of the 10 people we asked would actually participate and dedicate their views for our survey. One woman we asked was very dedicated on giving a suitable answer and made her views clear and straight to the point. The woman said she preferred number 2 because she liked the colours and design of the that one. She noted that the flames on the shake for the number 2 flyer was the best feature and said the colours and the flames showed that it was a hot shake we were advertising. We found that asking people for their opinions on which flyer they preferred was quite a hard task as it was difficult to find people to actually participate in the survey. Some people were rude and walked straight past and others said; they were in a hurry but then just walked very slowly into primark. Even though this irritated our work time, we couldn't blame their actions as we would have probably done the exact same. The people that did take part gave very helpful and straight views to the parts of the questionnaire. Overall today I was quite glad with the progress we made as with how difficult the public were being. One thing we could have improved on was the questions on the survey and getting more done.

First Campaign Unit session x
This week in Cram we started our new topic in the Campaign unit. At the start we were told to pick the most eye-catching advertisement in the plumbing section of the yellow pages. Then we told Mr Hind which ones took to our interests and talked about why they stood out from the rest on the page and how the positioning helped it stand out more too. After this discussion we were set to sketch a quick advertisement for this plumbing matter including all the things we talked about like .. a big, bold title and a catchy slogan to catch the eye .. quoting that the company is reliable and officient and making it colourful to attract searchers and a few more other things that must be included for the advert to be a sucess in reaching customers. After break we made a few more quick sketches, but for a officient snack service .. we had to include all the important things again and then we chose one from our four to show to a friend and let them anylise it. we then got in pairs and made a Final Advert and made sure it was eyecatching and attractive .. afta that we went on the laptops and made the final advert on adobe photoshop .. we included a catchy slogan .. a phone number .. a special offer sign .. free delivery and a quik summary on what the company sells. When we had finished these Mr Hind showed them to the group and we picked out good and bad points on them .. we had most good feedback .. the only bad feedback was that .. because we hadnt finshed it .. it didnt include a picture. Next week i think we are looking more into the project and starting out topic title abit more.
